Jaco is a busy town, it’s main street bustles like a clown, Just off this side street out of the blue, is a place to stay a must to do. You end up nigh so on the beach, then find this place now in your reach.

I found it quite by chance that time, and now I call it home of mine, Unusual yes, it doth belies, it has a feel of "Paradise", To capture all its moods for sure, you feel it’s right, and by the shore, The name is Canciones del Mar, and it truly is a "Magic Spa" Its gardens lush like tropics are, a wonder of plants to view so far, The Pool a shape of magic too, is warm and friendly, inviting you, The dainty bridge which spans this pool, is just another wonder tool, The breakfast place a "Hut" of peace, just views the Ocean as if on lease, Atop the Gardens to view just all, the "Tree House" lounge, a sure real call. The Feline Residents yes, but three, give all a welcome so friendly.  They rest amongst the shaded trees, of which are many so to please. Unique this Gem so placed sure is, it truly likens a quiet Oasis. It’s Owner a tall gentle Dutchman too, has always smiles for me and you. The "Help" around this place of Bliss, is always kind with willingness. You do not pass this wonder place, but rest just here to slow your pace. Your stay now done, it’s time to part, but a must to return if your sure real smart. Take my advice and search you well, go find this place with "True Magic Spell"!

Our first time to Costa Rica and what a wonderful introduction to a fabulous mystical country.
A wonderful wide serene beach, perfect for a morning walk and an evening stroll to catch the sunset. Lush gardens and flowers everywhere. So many things to discover, like the white faced monkey on the mountain at the end of the beach and the breathtaking scarlet macaws flying over the pool.

But best of all has to be the caring and friendly staff at the Canciones del Mar.
We’ve been here for 4 weeks and we thank you for taking such good care of us and making this a trip to remember. We already are planning our return.

Na enige weken door dit prachtige land Costa Rica te zijn getrokken, belanden wij toevallig in dit heerlijke hotel Wij ervaren dit als een bijzondere mix van ultieme privacy and verwenning. Het sfeervolle en smaakvolle in en exterieur is voor ons een zeer gewaardeerde verassing. Heerlijk voor ons was dat wij de eigenaar nog iets van dit mooie land hebben kunnen laten zien. Deze geweldige vogels lieten zich in de namiddag zon uitgebreid bewonderen.

Just a wee note to thank all of you at the Canciones del Mar for a wonderful holiday in your little part of paradise. Costa Rica is a special country that makes you slow down and savior the good parts of life. This is our second visit to Costa Rica and we plan to return many times.
